MY HOLIDAYS

In my past holiday my family and I went to visit my mother's grandparents in suaita, Santander and my father's grandmother in chipaque, Cundinamarca (my grandfather Arturo is die); then we traveled to cartagena in car, was a long travel. But we enjoy all the journey.





My next holidays will be fantastic! I'm going to visit my mother's and father's grandparents, with my family; then I'm going to go Colombia's airport and I am going to fly to Cancun. ( I hate planes) am going to spend there two weeks.
I’m going to a shopping center and I’m going to run along the beach. The next day I’m going to eat an ice-cream, because the temperature is high and it is always Summer. After that,I am going to visit the museums with my parents and my brothers.
There, I'm going to enjoy the beach and climate.

MY CHILDHOOD

I can still remember lots of thing I did in my childhood and things that happened when I was a child. I was born in a beautiful city called Villavicencio and the place was full of magic and wonder. I spent 2 years of my childhood there. 

I started studying when I was 2 years old, in COFREM school of Villavicencio , My Second school was Gimnacio Serranias in monteria , then I studied in the Santabarbara liseo in Bogota, Joan Comenius school in Tunja, and finally I graduated at the Salesiano Maldonado school.

When I was child, I bought a lot of candies; I was traveling for almost the whole country. In my holidays in was traveling with my family to different places, I visit the beach, snow, etc. And others countries like Argentina, Peru and Mexico. 

I went out to the park with my dolls and barbies, I played with my friends and when I came back to my house, I left my dolls. (Maybe I thought that the park was my house too)I didn't want to go to school, because I didn't got up early; but the weekends, I got up early to watch TV (Grimm's tales) and eat froot loops. 

The one particular memory of my childhood I would never forget is the time I first saw the devastating effect of accident. This event has a significant importance of my life.

MY DAILY ROUTINE

MY ROUTINE

I usually wake up at 6:00  o´clock, drink water and brush my teeth. After I take a shower, I delay five minutes but sometimes I delay fifteen minutes because I have to wash my hair, in my bedroom I dress up and make up. At 6:45 i eat a fruit while cook my breakfast. When I finish to eat, go my bedroom and I make the bed although I don´t like that. There I take my hand bag, keep my books and go out my house. As I live near to the University I prefer walk. The road is very stony so if it rains I take a bus. At 7:30 I arrive the university and from the entrance to the classroom I have to walk 5 minutes. My first class begin at 8:00 o´clock and finish at 12:00 o´clock, while I am going out the classroom call a friend to meet at the restaurant. We lunch and speak about the class, sometimes she has to go to class at 13:00 hours so I go my home early, again I walk to my house. In my house I sleep one hour. After I always study and do the homework, each hour of work I pause five minutes for stretch and drink water. At 19:30 hours I go to the kitchen and cook the dinner. When finish to eat, I wash the dishes and organize the kitchen. Before to sleep I read a book because I love the novels, brush my teeth and go to sleep

DESCRIPTION OF PLACES

Plaza de Bolívar Tunja

Is the principal place of the city, all around are some of the most important buildings of the city. In the north are the palacio de la Torre where the government of Boyaca works, in the south, the mayoral of the city, in the east are the museum house of Juan de Castellanos, in the west are the cathedral basilica metropolitan Santiago de Tunja and the house of the Gonzalo Suarez Rendon, in the center of the plaza are an statue of Simon Bolivar.

Parque Natural Sierra Nevada del Cocuy

Is a national park and a set of highlands within the Cordillera Oriental mountain range in the Andes Mountains of Colombia.
It is a very nice place , travel is heavy, especially for those who get seasick . The weather is very cold , you should wear sunglasses all the time. In this place you can enjoy good moments with your family, like me.

MY HOUSE

I live in a house with 4 floors,  located in the neighborhood Fuente Higueras;in the first one is an apartment, in that live other family; the second one is my father's attic and the garage. On the others floors live my family; my house has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen, one study room, a guest room, laundry room, a garden and a livingroom. It's  big and comfortable. The facade has brick and and the windows are spacious, the entrance has a big door, behind the door is the parking, it has white walls, and one stairs in the center, this stairs lead to dining room. The dining room have one table and six chairs. Next to the dining room is the living room, there are one sofa two chairs and five plants.
 In front of my house is the battalion, next to my house is a new building and a park, behind my house there are more homes, to the corner of my house are the old washing clothes (historical monument). 

MY PREFERENCES

1. In my spare time I like to read a book or spend time with my family, in special my brother David. 
2. I've a lot of hobbies, I enjoy running on the weekends, playing tennis, playing volleyball, and I love the sport shooting.
3. My favourite sport is the sport shooting, and I like too the volleyball and the tennis.
4. I don't know, I love a lot of food, but in special the creepes and the hot dog. 

MY FAVORITE RECIPES

AREPAS

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Mass for 20 arepas simple and medium approx. Stuffed with cheese 12 approx.

Ingredients

1. 250 grams of flour for precooked corn arepas 
2. 100 grams of melted butter.
3. 1 tbsp of olive oil.
4. 1 cup of hot water.
5. 1 teaspoon of salt.
6. 200 grams of double cream cheese or mozzarella cheese 

Preparation

MY MOM'S AREPAS

1. In a bowl mix flour, oil, salt and butter.
2. Pour the hot water slowly and stir with a spoon as it is adding more water.
3. Mix well until a stiff dough, let stand for 10 minutes or until it can be manipulated.
4. Take a small portion and place it on a flat surface covered with a plastic bag or vinyl.
5. Leave the dough in the bag and then use a rolling pin to flatten.
6. Pre-heat a grill to roast or grill over medium heat.
7. With a cookie cutter or other cutter, cut to the desired size circles. And you can put on the grill for roasting
8. If you want arepas filled with cheese or other ingredients, make two circles of equal size and then put the stuffing in the middle and close smoothly pressing the two arepas.

  
HOT DOG

Ingredients: 

1. sausages 
2. Bread for sausage 
3. 1 onion 
4. ¼ head of green cabbage 
5. 200 g of potato chips 
6. mayonnaise 
7. mustard 
8. ketchup 

Preparation: 

1. Cook the sausages in a pan of boiling water. Remove from the water when they are tender and cooked. 
2. Cut the onion into pieces and put it in the food processor until finely chopped. Remove it and do the same with green cabbage. Take the potato chips and flatten until they are in small pieces. 
3. Opens the loaves of sausage and sausage placed in each of them. To assemble the hot dogs, covered with onions, green cabbage and potato chips sausages. Place enough mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard.

Andres: Yes. I’ll have club colombia, please. 
Lorena: And I’ll have coca-cola.
Waiter: OK. Are you ready to order, or do you need a few minutes?
Andres: I think we’re ready. I’ll have the mondongo to start, and the roast beef with mashed potatoes and peas.
Waiter: How do you want the beef — rare, medium or well done? 
Andres: Well done, please.
Lorena: And I’ll just have the fish, with potatoes and a salad.
Waiter: Ok, it's a pleasure. I hope you enjoy the food.

MY FAMILY

My family has 5 members; my parents, my 2 brothers and me of corse.

My mother says “forever 18” but she’s 49 years old, her name is Lucila Castellanos. She is an really good artist She's very good-looking, always well-dressed and elegant. She is short, slim, she has brown eyes; she has wayv, black and short hair, a small nose, she is from Bucaramanga, Santander. Her qualities are: she is very smart, an excellent mother, and she prepares delicious plates. She loves my brothers and me really a lot and she always helps us when we are in difficulty.

My father, is 3 years older than my mother. He's 53. His name is Augusto Torres; In spite of his age he's still black-haired, maybe with several grey hairs. He's brunette, he has straight, and short hair, he has mustache; he's tall and thin, He wears glasses; he isn't very strict, in fact he never gets angry with me. He is extrovert, spontaneous and helpful and he likes doing a lot funny jokes to me and my brothers. He's a very hard-working. Actually he works on INDUMIL.



Cristian is the older son, my big brother, he he's 5 years older than me; he's 26 years old. he is a military medical. He has straight, short and black hair. He's tall, strong and thin. He's general easy-going but very sharp, brainy and able, he is very helpful and kind. He's very sensible, smart and co-operative. Hhe's learning a lot and always can help. I want to be so smart as he is.

David is the younger son, he is 5 years younger than me. he's 16 years old. He's also straight, short and black hair; he is very tall (he is more taller than me). He has brown eyes. He's always well-dressed because he likes to buy a nice clothes. He is smart, very extrovert and spontaneous. he loves watch action movies and cartoons.

I don't like to speak of my life or me, because it... It just feels weird for me to talk about it, but I will tell you a little about me . My name is Tatiana Torres, I was born in Villavicencio, I grew up in Villavicencio, Monteria and Tunja. My hobbies include volleyball, reading, and spend time with my family and friends.

I’m an easy going person that works well with everyone. I enjoy being around different types of people and I like to always challenge myself to improve at everything I do.

I’m a hard worker and I like to take on a variety of challenges. I like the animals, except the sharks; and in my spare time, I like to relax with a book or a movie. Actually I'm studying law in UMNG I’ve always liked being balanced. When I work, I want to work hard.
